Utilizes proper sonographic technique in conjunction with departmental protocols to demonstrate pertinent patient anatomy and pathology to assist the physician in interpretation. The technician is responsible for performance of all cardiac and neonate cranial studies and clerical functions associated with preparation of data for physician interpretation and reporting to the medical record.
- High school graduate or equivalent required. Graduate of a School of Diagnostic Ultrasound preferred. Registered ARDMS(RDCS) or CCI(RCS) required.Must possess reasoning ability and good independent judgment. Must have the ability to work within rigid time constraints. Must be aware of patient conditions at all times. Must demonstrate effective communication skills.Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
