SHIPPING/INVENTORY PLANNER
Baraka is a fast-paced, woman-owned, small business in the natural products industry that produces high-end sinus products for wholesale and retail customers. This position entails: preparing invoices/labels for shipping, tracking inventory levels, managing online payments & maintaining a workflow in the shipping area.
Applicant must be a team player, good natured and a critical thinker. Must be physically capable to move inventory weighing 50 pounds. On occasion, applicant will assist in packing shipments, but this is mainly done by the shipping associates.
We manage to have a lot of good laughs and are looking for a dependable person who feels like a part-time job best fits their life. The job is part-time, 8:30 am -12:30 pm with flexibility. We are a seasonal business with peak months being June-Sept. If you easily learn computer platforms, don't shy away from applying even if you don't know all the programs we use below.

Daily Duties include but not limited to:
Prepare customer orders for shipping.
Determine appropriate shipping method and pack size (must be good visualizer).
Manage inventory levels for website, Etsy, and Amazon Fulfillment Centers.
Conduct physical inventory counts and keep inventory maintained.
Coordinate with shipping associates daily workflow.
Receive & unpack pallets of shipping materials.
Order supplies related to shipping.
Customers service regarding lost packages and other problems related to shipping.
Maintain a safe, clean working environment.
Requirements
Computer Literacy A Must!—Prefer skills in Excel spreadsheets, Word and Outlook and can easily learn new platforms. Preferred experience with Quickbooks, but not required.
Experience with Amazon Seller shipments preferred, but not required.
Ability to work well as part of a team and with minimal supervision.
Detail-oriented.
Ability to evaluate best practices and change methods when needed.
Ability to take feedback and be flexible.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, time management, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage priorities, workflow, and meet deadlines.
Flexibility and willingness to work with changing priorities.
Ability to track inventory inhouse and at Amazon.
Lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance.
While computer skills are the most important part of this job, the ability to learn new skills is equally important.
