Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm

This full-time position will have duties split between the Elizabeth Lee Black School and the Information Technology (IT) service lines. This individual is responsible for the coordination and advancement of assistive technology devices for the Elizabeth Lee Black School (ELBS), as well as, training, modeling, and assisting teachers and other school staff in the use of technology to improve student achievement. This individual will also spend time as a member of the IT Technical support staff and perform responsibilities as assigned to provide technical support services.

This position will report directly to the Director of Technical Services. Applicants must be self-motivated and have a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with users, management, and IT Staff. The incumbent of this role will have excellent teamwork, time management, and collaboration skills.

Qualifications for IT Hardware Technician II:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license required
• Bachelor of Science degree in IS, Computer Science/Engineering or related field; or
  • Associates Degree with two years’ prior working experience
• Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite products is required
• Experience with both Windows and iOS technology preferred
• Experience with WAN networks is preferred
• Good working knowledge of internet security and data privacy principals preferred
• FBI clearance required for individuals who do not meet PA residency requirements
• Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance
