Trainer

Looking for a full-time dynamic staff trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will possess knowledge of and be passionate about adult learning to provide employees the skills they need to be successful in their career and make a difference in the lives of the people supported by our services.

Responsibilities for Trainer:

• Schedule and present new employee Orientation training
• Submit and maintain copies of training records for inputting into online systems
• Coordinate trainings facilitated by outside agencies
• Present a variety of staff trainings in live, virtual, or recorded formats
• Successfully utilize software systems utilized at the Barber National Institute including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Barber Hub and to be able to provide employees with further instruction in said systems.
• Maintain certification as Medication Administration Trainer
• Assist with tracking of employee completion of time-sensitive trainings Attend meetings as designated by the Associate Director

Qualifications for Trainer:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; related experience required
• Must have knowledge of adult learning methods, excellent interpersonal skills and possess a strong presentation style
• Experience in the field of training and/or education
• Excellent computer skills, including but not limited to: PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office products
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Must be willing to travel and work varied hours as training needs dictate
• Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance FBI clearance required for individuals who do not meet PA residency requirements
