Breakdown: MUST READ
Depending on what site you look at, the average income for a barber is roughly $30k - $48k. Here's how we break it down to our barbers - our starting prices are set at $60 for a haircut and $70 for a haircut beard, take a realistic number of haircuts possible for a day and lets say 7... now take the lowest amount (60) and multiply that by 7 cuts a day and you'll get $420, now multiply that by .6 (to indicate a 60/40% split, which is what our new barbers/cosmetologists start at, 60% to barber and 40% to BarberHop) and you'll bring home $252 per day. Multiply that by 5 (5 working days a week) and you'll get $1,260 a week (assuming you do 7 cuts a day) now multiply that by 52 (number of weeks in a year) and you'll get $65,520/year. That is nearly 20k more per year than the average barber salary on the HIGH end ($48k)
This number does NOT include tips and a small convenience fee ($2.50) that each customer will pay that will both go 100% to you, the barber. The convenience fee is to compensate for gas and wear and tear on your vehicle.
Those numbers are strictly BASELINE. You may be able to do 10 cuts in a day at $70, who knows. Point is, the earning potential of this opportunity is real. Let's make some money!
