As a Barclays USCB CFO Finance – AVP, you will be acting as a bridge between individual CFO Business partner teams, who works closely with the Financial Control, Treasury, Impairment, Cost, Stress Test and Business Functions to support the decision making process of the Executive teams by providing high quality decision support, insights, performance reporting and analysis. You will provide frontline support to CRFTL requests of new MI projects, including testing and data verification and data quality issues.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. What will you be doing?
• Designing, developing and producing of value add Management Information reports for the USCB CFO MI
• Being responsible for timely, accurate and credible production of scheduled and adhoc MI reports and analytics, leveraging SAS and Essbase
• Developing and operating processes to deliver MIS for regulatory reporting purposes
• Engaging with bank leadership team and working with stakeholders across the bank to identify and prioritize additional regulatory related MIS capability
• Setting the operational goals and direction for monthly segment level financials processes
• Creating and providing relevant artefacts to manage process in a controlled and governed manner
• Providing coaching and institutional knowledge to all stakeholders to ensure that all relevant information is understood and explainable
What we’re looking for:
• Experience in production MI or development, preferably in banking, experience in Credit Card or knowledge of banking and financial industry
• Understanding of Finance MI tools and architecture
• Knowledge of SAS/ SQL (familiarity with Oracle advantageous) is desirable
• Proficient with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) particularly across the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any field with five years of experience
• Experience with SAS, SQL, and VBA and ability to build and develop systems to perform reporting, planning and analysis
• Experience interpreting and leveraging data to optimize profitability and potential prospective partner additions, and performing financial analysis and valuations
• Experience performing process developments and improvements for statistical and financial reporting analysis
