Digital Product Manager

As a Barclays Digital Product Manager, you will be accountable to plan, lead, organize, coordinate, and motivate agile teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality for the Barclays Digital Experience. For this role, you will also be participating in and driving key business meetings to understand current business drivers, formulate requirements, and engage cross functionally to align and execute on deliverables.

What will you be doing?

•    Being hands-on and inspiring a team to enable simple, contextual, and rewarding digital user experiences on our mobile app and customer website
•    Helping shape strategic direction through research and collaboration with Business Partners, Design, Engineering, and Product Management
•    Working with Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and others to prioritize features in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
•    Having the ability to “think like an owner” to understand incidents/issues for the product, and instill a high level of governance and controls
•    Advocating plans and progress to diverse audiences through written reports and in-person presentations
•    Instilling user research, design thinking, testing, and data-driven insights into your team and peers, and contributing to share user insights for the organization, to help us remove bias
•    Partnering with other leaders across Barclays’ business, technology, partnerships, and other global Digital groups to share knowledge, wins, lessons learned, and competitor analysis

What we’re looking for:

•    Four-year college degree
•    Five or more years of experience in product management
•    Experience in driving elements of the product development lifecycle
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills

Skills that will help you in the role:

•    Experience leading digital strategic efforts and incorporating user research into product designs cross-functionally in a financial services context
•    Ability to be comfortable in an enterprise-scale and highly data-driven environment, where you engage with quantitative stakeholders and understand quantitative insights
•    Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization, including our Partners
•    Experience promoting a digital-first approach across the customer lifecycle
