What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Entry Receiving Clerk position at Barco Uniforms?
Summary: Verifies and keeps records on incoming shipments, creates receiving documents and is responsible for office work. A person in this position could also be involved in inventory control type functions, freight scheduling, receiving and customer support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· The main responsibility for this position is to create and to print label based on a packing list, this task is crucial to the overall warehouse process.
· Responsible for keeping track of all inbound shipments, LCL, Containers, Etc.
· Responsible for communicating with Vendors and Truck Companies regarding the delivery of incoming shipments.
· In charge of releasing orders from QC HOLD based on the paper work provided by QC Department, and maintain location up to date.
· Must be able to communicate with other departments regarding daily issues.
· Responsible for Filing documents associate with receiving department, Keeping inventory of all receiving supplies and Updating online files on a share folder.
· Responsible for communicating and to provide accounting a monthly report for all shipments received after the fiscal month ends.
· Responsible for backing out units, for collecting all the paper work from all the departments involved before we can RTV any order.
· Responsible for communicating any shipment discrepancies to the Supervisor.
· Responsible to log and track all UPS/FedEx packages delivered to Barco.
· Collect all BOL and turn them into accounting on a weekly basis.
· Manage inventory on UCC 128 labels and other supplies used in the receiving department.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Must have English as primary language of business with secondary languages a plus. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. The person must posses the ability to speak effectively before employees of organization and must possess strong written and verbal communication skills to deal with various levels of management and employees within the organization and vendors.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have excellent technical skills, proficient in the use of MS office, Word, Excel. Full Circle knowledge a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
