Bargains In a Box is looking for a Co-Store Manager to support the Store Manager and focus on implementing new standard operations process (SOP). The right candidate will possess a keen eye for coordinating and evaluating the merchandising, manage employees, and control store expense for our retail discount stores. Success depends on your ability to work as team member, be a leader, and properly hire, train, and motivate the team in our fast-paced, challenging and compelling environment.

Responsibilities:
• Accountable for Merchandising, Operations, Customer Service and Human Resources within a high-volume store location
• Develop creative plans to increase store goals as related to sales, profitability and expenses through implementing systems and processes
• Manage store expense control and payroll to optimize business
• Focus staff on Loss Prevention priorities
• Ensure every customer has a positive shopping experience
• Recruit, train, develop and manage a large team of Associates and Assistant Managers
• Provide individualized development for our disability inclusion (DI) participants.
• Work with District Manager (DM) to recruit, network, and develop our diverse talent of our awesome store sales associates.
• Demonstrated strong analytical, organizational, problem solving, and communication skills with all levels of employees.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work as a team player and be able to take the lead role when SM is not present
• Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Basic:
• Three to five years' retail leadership experience as a Store Manager
• Proven ability to manage, develop and motivate a large team
• 2-3 years of experience in customer service
Preferred:
• 3 years of experience of retail management
• Associates degree
Work Environment: Able to manage store operations with constant changes.
Work Hours: Sunday – 9 AM to 7 PM; Monday to Saturday – 8 AM to 9 PM. Management is required to work 2 weekends per month, and 45 hours p/week.
Physical and Mental Demands: Medium to heavy lifting, with occasional exertion of 20 to 50 pounds of force, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently. On an infrequent basis the employee lifts up to 70 pounds of bulk product with assistance. This may not occur on a daily basis. This job also requires constant standing and walking. The employee must know and follow proper safety protocols; know product loads and spatial relations to effectively and safely stage products for loading.
