What are the responsibilities and job description for the eCRM Specialist position at Barkley?
This role is an opportunity to engage with a variety of departments from the beginnings of an email campaign (when it's just an idea or part of a Big Idea) to seeing the opens and clicks roll in after deployment. Best fit for this gig is a go-getter, self-starter, self-taught, and a trier. Being an admitted geek for email-marketing strategy, best practices and trends is a must, and being able to geek out on any kind of data-driven marketing is a bonus. It takes one part project manager and one part creative thinker to manage a broad range of email campaigns from soft serve to fitness brands to health insurance benefits.
There's lots of autonomy in this role, as this person will plan and oversee key Barkley clients’ email deployments from promotional calendar-based sends to robust automated nurture series. You’ll be the person responsible for perfecting client’s email campaigns, so detail-oriented and/or a self-proclaimed perfectionist welcome.
There’s also room for growth, as this person will report to the CRM Director, learning more CRM channels than just email, including loyalty and rewards programs, mobile marketing (Push, SMS, MMS), and even direct mail.
