What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Care Technician - 2A (Telemetry) - Per Diem Night position at Barnabas Health?

The CCT is a direct patient caregiver who assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care to patients including phlebotomy and EKG's.
The starting base salary is $19.25 plus differentials according to shift.
A day in the life of a Clinical Care Technician at Community Medical Center includes:
- Providing patient care, based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service
- Providing for effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment and critical actions
- Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient's care
- Participating in collaboration of our patient's plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning
Position Requirements:
- Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program preferred.
- Certified nursing assistant preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- BLS Required.
