We are seeking a motivated and passionate Pastry Chef / Baker to join a dynamic and creative team. The ideal candidate must have a constant determination to learn and improve every day amongst a closely tight knit kitchen. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries and bread
- Ensure adherence to established recipes, techniques, and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area
- Collaborate with the executive chef to innovate and develop new recipes and products
- Uphold food safety and sanitation practices at all timesxWork organized and effectively manage the pastry team
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a pastry cook or baker, with a focus on pastries or bread
- Proficiency in pastry and bread-making techniques, including lamination and dough shaping
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in product quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Bilingual is highly preferred
