We are growing fast and have many opportunities for advancement. We are currently adding a position for a Packaging Trainer in the Plant. Come and work for a company like no other!
Job Duties:
- Ensure that all packaging operators/laborers are trained according to the standards. Will also need to retrain trained operators when there are performance issues and/or misses.
- Follows safety policies and procedures, identifies, and corrects safety hazards, reports violations, and encourages others to work safely
- Perform operator responsibilities when there is no training required.
- Respect co-workers in a sincere appreciative manner, have a polite, professional, and cheerful outlook.
- Helps solve production problems, looks for opportunities to improve processes daily while being a “no excuses” training leader . Act with integrity, actively promotes Lean initiatives, works effectively with others, has a positive and enthusiastic approach to work, and communicates effectively by utilizing active listening skills.
- Holds employees accountable to performance and quality expectations, coaches, and rewards appropriate and formal recognition while communicating with Supervisors and Manager.
- Looks for ways to improve skills and knowledge for themselves and employees in the department through cross training operators to needed lines.
- Gains respect of the employees in the department and throughout the plant; displays model behavior, provides clear direction to employees.
- Effectively communicates goals, priorities, and directions to all employees.
- Refers all escalations of any Safety, Quality or production issues to their Supervisor/Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Willing and able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Pallet organization while moving finished totes.
- Computer competency
- Forklift experience required.
- Able to obtain Fork/Truck license.
- ability to climb ladders, bend, stoop and reach.
Hours: Monday - Friday
1st Shift: 5:15 am - 1:45 pm
Salary: $20 per hour
