Position Description:
This position will provide support for all Underground Mobile Maintenance projects and planning. This support shall include, but not be limited to writing new corrective and preventive maintenance procedures, coordinating machine issues with Predictive Maintenance/Condition Monitoring groups (both internal and external), and coordinating inventory with Supply Chain.
In addition, the Underground Mobile Maintenance Planning Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing material extensions, stock requests, on-time parts delivery, material usage, and component replacement forecasts. They will also be responsible for AFE preparation and submission, managing the CAPEX and OPEX budget for Mobile Maintenance, as well as overseeing the additional tasks of planning/scheduling/parts expediting group.
The successful candidate will coordinate activities that support NGM’s best business practices. When necessary, the successful candidate will modify existing or create new operating procedures and other tools that will ensure maximum asset value is achieved while staying true to the Nevada Gold Mines Vision and Core Values.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated safety leadership capability for both self and team (Required)
- Supervisory experience (Preferred)
- Exposure to PdM/CM technologies (Preferred)
- Planning experience 3-5 years (Required)
- Specialized mechanical/electrical trades experience, particularly with UG mining equipment (Preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MST, SAP, Xeras, Power BI and PI Vison software programs (Preferred)
- Excellent leadership, people, and communication skills (Required)
- Ability to perform the essential functions of this position (Required)
Qualifications:
- Minimum post secondary education (Preferred)
- Five (5) years practical experience in Maintenance, preferably in a mining environment (Required)
- Accredited post secondary education will be considered as experience, amount depending on nature and extent
