Job Summary:
The Full Charge Bookkeeper will manage daily financial activities, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling complex tasks, supporting various projects, and ensuring that financial processes run smoothly. This role will closely resemble the duties of a Financial Controller but with a focus on bookkeeping.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including AP and AR.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
- Prepare and present monthly financial reports.
- Perform financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Invoice customers and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Audit invoices, bills, and financial records regularly, ensuring clean books.
- Manage cost reduction initiatives and track organizational KPIs.
- Prepare year-end reports, including 1099s and other tax documentation.
- Organize and maintain financial records and documents.
- Create, manage, and track work orders and related documentation.
- Negotiate with vendors and manage contracts as needed.
- Assist with ad hoc projects and complex financial tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or financial management experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online(required) and Microsoft Excel (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid communication skills for presenting reports and collaborating with senior leadership.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred).
Work Environment:
- On-site at our Greeley, CO office, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
