Supply Chain and Production Analyst (2200480) – Geismar, LA
Where the Chemistry Happens…
We are seeking a professional like you to support our Utilities, Infrastructure, and Waste Water Treatment Plant operations at our Geismar, LA facility. You will be responsible for using SAP, excel and other tools to analyze unit to unit and transfer cost for Utilities at the Geismar site. This role also handles processing work flows, monitoring fixed costs, and identifying opportunities to improve.
Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Formula for Success
- Leveraging your educational background in Cost Analysis, Business, Engineering or other technical field, and your professional experience, you will be the primary liaison between operations and Customer Business Units onsite in regard to utility closing information. Your excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills are essential as you provide analysis and support, including development of benchmarks, cost metrics, analysis for trends in overall spend for both fixed and variable costs. Utilizing your collaboration skills, you will support the Geismar Business Units with opportunities for low-cost services and utilities. Assist with annual planning process & with the re-design/simplification efforts for utility closing data. Perform month end closing activities. Support monthly/quarterly variance account analysis and clearing/allocation process You will be the direct lead for material supply and processing of payments, and your leadership skills and experience will enable you to provide day-to-day support to operations.
