Where the chemistry happens…As Ammonia Asset Engineer for our CM Freeport businesses, you will have an opportunity to work with multiple units and teams across the Freeport site as you lead effective organization and execution of our Reliability processes while maintaining a high profile both within our business and with our function peers. As an Ammonia Asset Engineer, You Create Chemistry By...
- Participating in the incident investigation process, including investigating, conducting root cause analysis, documenting action items, and following up
- Developing and maintaining a critical equipment list
- Leading efforts to define equipment strategies with maintenance engineers and the operations team
- Ensuring that predictive maintenance activities are included in equipment strategies for critical equipment
- Leading efforts to optimize preventative maintenance (PM)
- Performing analysis to identify and prioritize Bad Actors, evaluating the effectiveness of action plans, and proposing sustainable solutions
- Identifying equipment and operational issues that require formal and informal root cause failure analysis, prioritizing them for the maintenance and operations teams
- Conducting Risk Based Inspection (RBI) analysis, collaborating with PVG, Reliability Engineer, and Maintenance Engineer to challenge inspection scope and propose necessary repairs, alterations, re-rating, or replacement of pressure vessels
- Preparing and maintaining an evergreen capital plan, challenging project scope and justification, monitoring progress and reporting costs, and participating in scope development for reliability, replacement, modification, or improvement projects
- Challenging scope development and changes for turnarounds and planned outages, including maintenance jobs and projects
- Participating in North American Reliability Team quarterly meetings to learn and share best practices
- Promoting the use of the Management of Change (MOC) process to document changes
- Building a bottom-up maintenance budget for assigned plants and contributing to maintenance forecasts
- Analyzing plant production losses and utilizing data for Bad Actor analysis and Criticality Assessments
- Collaborating with Technology and Business teams to prepare an Asset Management Plan.
The Formula for the Success of our Ammonia Asset Engineer includes the following ingredients…
- BS in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical) or other Technical Degree
- 8 years of experience in plant manufacturing (Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Refining) in Operations, Operations support, or Maintenance.
- Proficiency in data productivity tools
- SAP
- PowerBI
