Angler Open Learn How to Hook, Line, & Sinker your Internship with Us This event is for any second semester sophomore in college or someone who has at least 36 completed credited hours. This 3-hour virtual event is a chance to meet with Bass Pro Shops senior leaders, mentors, and past interns. Learn about what an internship with Bass Pro Shops is like, how to prepare for your internship, and how you will benefit from an internship with us. Bonus: You will get the chance to learn from our world renowned talent acquisition Outfitters during our workshops on resume building and leveraging social media, specifically LinkedIn. What’s in it for me?! Well, if you are one of the lucky few that are selected to participate in the Angler Open, then you are going to have first consideration at an internship with us next summer (Summer 2025) when you would be eligible for our internship program. We are looking for students who will be excited to learn and are curious, will not be afraid to contribute to group discussions and network with Bass Pro Shops’ leaders on the call, and are passionate about the outdoors and connecting with nature. Timeline: January/February – Application & Interview Period March – Offers Extended Learn More About our Internship Program: Bass Pro Shops Internship Program offers a 10-week immersive work program giving students a holistic overview of the business focusing on career and competency development while gaining valuable experience with a multifaceted company. What our Interns get out of an Internship at Bass Pro Shops: Working alongside talented individuals, you will be jumping in to assist with projects, research and work experience that directly impacts our business. As a key-player on the team, you will have professional development and networking opportunities with leadership in the organization to build your professional brand. We can’t forget about the fieldtrips! You will have the opportunity to take team trips to learn about the many areas of our business. We will visit our Granddaddy retail store, Big Cedar Lodge, and our Boat Manufacturing Plants offering a behind-the-scenes overview of the organization to get an immersive experience about our passion for the outdoors and conservation.
