What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line cook position at Basta?
Basta of Id Est Hospitality Group is seeking back-of-house talent! We are hiring individuals who are passionate about food and people! One year of prior hospitality experience is required to apply for this role.

The ideal candidate fits the following criteria :
- Knowledgeable and passionate about food
- Experience with wood fired cooking techniques is considered a plus
- Basic kitchen knowledge : knife skills, basic cooking techniques, safe food handling, sanitation and cleanliness standards
- Zero waste and ingredient cross-utilization mindset
- Eagerness to learn and collaborate with others
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent understanding of hospitality etiquette
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to fast paced environments
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time and comfortably lift 50 lbs
- Availability to work nights and weekends
