Batesville is hiring an Insides Sales Representative, open to remote work. This position will entail responsibility for calling on assigned business clients to generate sales revenue. Our primary responsibility is to promote direct and indirect sales via phone customer relations. Position must create, organize, and maintain professional and effective sales presentations. Proactively builds relationships using Batesville’s standard sales process, while also effectively communicating with Batesville associates and customers to continually monitor, document and provide feedback to our sales, support, and development teams.

What you’ll do:
- Sells products to grow Batesville’s overall book of business; establishes and maintains quality relationships with established and prospective customers.
- Maintains current book of business while prospecting a growing Batesville’s share of wallet.
- Documents and reports on results, activities, and customer insights via CRM System.
- Conduct effective sales presentations to customers via phone with the support of technology and direct marketing efforts.
- Collaborates with sales management, field sales, marketing, logistics, and credit teams as necessary to support Batesville products and services, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Participates actively, as needed, in sales/marketing planning and team meetings.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Basic Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of three years’ related sales and/or marketing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in sales and/or marketing
- Previous sales or marketing experience required.
Great to Haves:
- Intermediate Microsoft Office experience required
- CRM/Call Management experience preferred Previous sales or marketing experience required
