Full Job Description
Bath Community Hospital is a patient-focused small hospital in rural Virginia that offers excellent working conditions, a team environment, and opportunities for professional development. The Marketing Administrator will contribute directly to activities that impact Bath Community Hospital's brand visibility and influence through community engagement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contributes to the creation and production of print and digital marketing materials, including but not limited to advertisements, annual reports, brochures, event posters, flyers, direct mail pieces, e-newsletters, social media graphics, and more.
- Contributes to the goals and ensures success of special events through support of planning, promotion, programming and execution. Events include but are not limited to health fairs, sponsored partner events, community events, speaker series, etc. Must have ability to work occasional nights and weekends.
- Manages Hospital digital properties and websites via content management systems, including WordPress. Anticipates and creates website content.
- Contributes to social media marketing campaigns, creating original content and video,
- Creates messaging for ads, social media posts, reports, signage, plus other print and digital materials as needed.
- Manages mailing lists as well as database for e-newsletter marketing.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing and Communications and collaborates closely with other members of wider Bath Community Hospital Staff.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years of marketing experience required
- Experience with both print and digital marketing
- Strong written and oral communication skills required.
- Strong interpersonal skills required.
- Exceptional proofreading skills and attention to detail, required.
- Ability to work independently, self-starter.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to regularly meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage time and maintain flexibility under pressure.
- High degree of creative and analytical abilities
