The bookkeeper is responsible for day-to-day transactional accounting for four companies within two organizations with a combined annual operating budget of $5.3 million. This position works within a progressive team environment to develop and create strong, long-lasting relationships with employees and vendors.
This is a part-time, hourly position with a wage range of $24.33 to $27.98 per hour depending on skill and experience level. Bath Housing has an excellent benefits package. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience.
- 3-4 years of experience in fund accounting required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
SKILLS AND ABILITIES QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient technology skills (Microsoft Office) and the ability to learn new software as needed, including but not limited to the Agency software programs (currently HAB, real estate software for public housing authorities).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent writing and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Can work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Ability to multi-task various tasks and manage time efficiently.
