What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician position at Batts Drug Company?
We are seeking a dependable and outgoing team member as Pharmacy Technician.
Responsibilities and Duties
(may include but are not limited to):
- Accurately input patient and prescription information
- Process and bill third party insurance
- Count, record, and document detailed medical information
- Monitor products for expiration dates and process returns as appropriate
- Assist customers in finding products at the pharmacy
- Float in other areas within the pharmacy, such as assisting customers, cashiering, and answering phones as needed
Qualifications and Skills needed:
- Currently licensed as a pharmacy technician with GA Board of Pharmacy
- Perform basic mathematical calculations in an accurate manner
- Basic computer proficiency
- Attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette
- Positive attitude and aptitude for problem-solving
- Desire for professional growth
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
- Able to stand and work steadily for extended periods of time
