Your Purpose as a Business Analyst:
- Design and develop dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to support marketing, operations, and accounting functions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify areas where data insights can drive decision-making.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain data models, including data cleansing, data transformation, and data visualization.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for dashboards and analytics, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Develop and maintain data and reporting processes for the internal marketing team. Key metrics to track: leads, lead sources, sales, market share, turn rates, inventory levels, key website activities, merchandising metrics, advertising spend, gross profit
- Understand how marketing and business metrics intersect and develop reports that help identify trends and lead to actionable conclusions.
- Communicate insights and recommendations to key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Equip Brand Managers with key business insights ahead of monthly and quarterly marketing meetings with General Managers.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4) is preferred in addition to proficiency in Excel & the dashboard tool we decide to move forward with.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as data science, statistics, computer science, or business administration. Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on marketing, operations, or accounting.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Qlick, Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio. Experience with scripting languages such as Python, R or SQL is a plus.
- Experience with data modeling and database management. Experience with marketing-centric data analytics.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
