Baxter & Woodman has a rewarding opportunity for a Water Engineering intern in our Milton/Janesville, Milwaukee, or Burlington, Wisconsin office. This on-the job experience will support the firms environmental and construction groups with the design and construction of a variety of facilities and offer the opportunity to work directly with firm clients. A variety of responsibilities and duties will provide a well-rounded background in engineering.
POSITION DUTIES:
- Assisting senior engineers with the evaluation, study and design of water and wastewater facilities, potable water and wastewater pipelines and pumping stations.
- Field work, studies and design of wastewater system rehabilitation.
- Construction work including quantity computation, construction layout, survey and construction inspection.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ongoing pursuit of a 4-year degree in Civil Engineering
- Maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0/4.0.
- Available to start May 2024.
- Ability to travel throughout SE Wisconsin area (own transportation).
- Work in a team environment.
- Strong written, verbal, computer and organizational skills.
