Overview
A successful candidate in this role will provide technical support to mechanical engineering activities.  This role will contribute to design and drawing updates, tolerance analyses, and various other technical deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
•Perform design and drawing updates to support engineering activities
•Collaborate to develop design solutions to technical challenges with other mechanical team members (engineers, designers, technicians, etc.)
•Develop tolerance analyses to evaluate complex assemblies for interference conditions and functional spacing
•Support design efforts through modeling, prototyping, testing, drawing release, and into production

Preferred Skills
•Demonstrated ability with 3D Modeling (Creo 7.0 is preferred)
•Knowledgeable in manufacturing methods, for plastic molded and machined components in particular
•Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
•Proficient problem-solving skills
•Desire to learn and continuously grow into roles with increasing levels of responsibility
•Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
•Flexible team player who is organized, dependable, and proactive
•Strong written and oral communication skills
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Background
•Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
•2-4 years of relevant work experience
•Experience working in a regulated environment such as Medical, Defense or Aerospace
