Job Description
The position of a Welder requires welding ovens and sub-assembly parts for ovens in Baxter's Manufacturing facility. Tig 25% and Mig 75%, of the time.
Welding on stainless steel and mild steel. Material gauges are .020 and .250.
- Duties may include the use of, a tape measure, miscellaneous hand tools, a hand drill, a screw gun, and a crane.
- Must be able to work with other assembly and welding personnel in a team environment.
- Perform job tasks according to schedules, using established safe methods and processes.
- Work independently towards the goals of the team.
- Good mechanical aptitude a must.
- May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to comprehend written and verbal instruction.
Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED and must be 18 years or older. Good mechanical aptitude a must. May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
