DSP Part-time Day shift Monday & Saturday: Waldorf, MD

Job Summary

Bay-CSS is looking for a compassionate and reliable DSP (Direct Support Professional) to join our team part-time on Mondays and Saturdays from 8am to 2pm in Waldorf, MD. The DSP will provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, with a focus on promoting their independence and well-being.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with individuals of diverse needs
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs and assist individuals with mobility as needed
• Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and car insurance
• Experience with G-tube feeding is a plus
  
  

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily tasks like grooming, bathing, and meal preparation
• Accompany and support individuals during community outings and social activities
• Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
• Maintain detailed documentation of individual progress and incidents
• Adhere to individual support plans and prioritize the health and safety of all individuals
