Duties:
- Manage and supervise the service department staff, including technicians and service advisor
- Ensure efficient workflow and productivity in the service department
- Schedule and assign work to technicians, ensuring timely completion of repairs and maintenance
- Provide guidance and support to technicians on complex repairs or diagnostic issues
- Maintain accurate records of all service transactions, including warranty and customer information, repairs performed, and parts used
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and address any concerns or complaints promptly
- Collaborate with the sales team to promote additional services and upsell customers on necessary repairs or maintenance
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in powersports technology
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of motorcycles and snowmobile systems
- Proficiency in mechanical theory, repairs, maintenance, tire service, electrical, suspension, and other common services
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing a team
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
