We are seeking candidates with strong clinical skills who are looking to engage with the Greater South Shore community by providing in-home and community-based therapeutic services. A Family Support & Stabilization Clinician provides short-term, intensive, strength-based therapy and coordination support for families involved with the Department of Children and Families.
This position involved a hybrid of case types including WRAP cases, and IFI cases.
· WRAP cases are comprised of paired team with a MA and BA level staff, and focus on providing support and resources around the entire family.
· Intensive Family Intervention (IFI) cases focus on supporting the youth’s and families mental health needs on a more individually level staffed by a MA level staff.
The FSS program provides short-term intensive therapeutic service for DCF-involved children and families. The purpose of the service is to support healthy child and caregiver relationships, improve mental health symptom maintenance, decrease risk for out-of-home placement, and empower families to utilize community resources. Based on family needs, services may be provided by a master’s Level Clinician or and Clinician and bachelor’s Level Counselor.
Required Skills
· Development of a youth and family centered treatment plan
· Identification of community resources and development of natural supports for youth and parent/caregiver(s) to support and sustain achievement of the youth's treatment plan goals and objectives.
· Advocate for clients in areas of health, education, vocation, legal and family interactions
· Provide case management services/collaboration with child serving systems.
· Must be able to work as a member of a team and to function independently.
· Moderate to advanced computer fluency, including Microsoft Office.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Qualifications
· (Master's Degree Level Only) Family support Clinician must have a clinical master's degree (including but not restricted to counseling, family therapy, social work, psychology, marriage & family therapy, etc.) from an accredited college/university.
Must be professional license eligible.
· The Family and Stabilization Clinician must possess training in family therapy. Experience with youth and families preferred.
· Experience navigating any of the child/family-serving systems and advocating for family members who are involved in the behavioral health system.
· Valid MA driver’s license with acceptable driving record and proof of insurance
· Acceptable CORI and SORI background record check as required by program
