Qualifications for HHA – Home Health Aide:
- Minimum one year work experience or we offer a free 40 hour Direct Care Worker course.
- The DCW course runs for a week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. It is a virtual interactive course, it can be taken at home or in our office!
Job Responsibilities for HHA – Home Health Aide:
- Activities of daily living
- Light housekeeping
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Nail care
- Range of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Oral feeding
- Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
- Medication assistance
