BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate seasonal float team. BayCare offers a variety of assignment options including:
Regional Float Pool- Minimum commitment is 4 shifts per 6 weeks to include 2weekend shifts. Required to float to region of hospitals based on census needs.
System Pool- 13-week full time assignment for assigned department.
Seasonal Pool/Single Hospital- 13-, 20- or 26- week assignments for assigned departments. Must live 100 miles from BayCare hospital.
Seasonal Pool/Multi Hospital- 13-, 20- or 26- week assignments for multiple hospitals. Must live 100 miles from BayCare Hospital.
The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.
Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in the departments
Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
The Registerd Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Qualifications:
Requirements:
Registered Nurse license
BLS is required.
ACLS, PALS (if required by department)
Associates Degree in Nursing
18 months RN experience in an acute ICU required
2 years RN experience in an acute ICU preferred
