Lab Supply Chain Spec
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role,Lab Supply Chain Spec, are to:
- Manage inventory and purchases of lab supplies in close cooperation with operations managers;
- Track inventory usage monitor performance levels- days of supply and safety stock;
- Provide forecasting demand planning and communicate any production capacity constraints;
- Regulate levels of supplies and trigger orders accordingly;
- Oversee consumable orders by tracking and receiving orders;
- Manage cost per test tracking for all major lab tests and ensure alignment with other NA labs;
- Identify opportunities to decrease market constrains or provide cost avoidance;
- Perform purchase orders, receipts, budgeting, and others task as may be required;
- Contribute in management of change process and updates of testing protocols for work instructions;
- Participate in a continuous improvement program focused on enhancing current processes and performing root cause analyses of troubleshooting issues;
- Join in bayer’s ESH safety program and cross-site projects initiatives that screens ,redirects calls, takes messages and handles mail;
- Performing additional accountabilities as required;

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor degree, 3 years lab experience
- Lead through influence and comfortable with ambiguity;
- Ability to communicate and lead change through teams;
- Proficiency in microsoft office suite and SAP
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a high through output environment.
