Logistics Analyst
Enhances trialing workflow by analyzing, developing, & coordinating logistics plans that affect packaging and distribution of seed for testing.- Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and management of products to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Works under immediate supervision.
- Hired candidates will perform work order execution to plan and forecast resources for crop research pipelines.
- Previous experience in lab or research settings is valuable.
- Familiarity with writing and updating Standard Operating Procedures is also valuable.
Requirements
- Ideal candidates are experienced with the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, and demonstrate competency in using pivot tables, macros, and other data analysis tools to analyze large data sets.
- Demonstrated experience learning IT tools is also highly sought.
- Candidates should be detail-oriented with the ability to recognize how today's work impacts downstream planning.
- Requires an Associate's degree and entry level experience in the field or in a related area.
