Job Description
Role Title: Business Analyst
Duration: 6 months, CTH
Location: Milwaukee or Chicago preferred, but open to remote with some travel on-site in Milwaukee for meetings
Role Description:
This client is looking to further develop a unified and connected experience by creating a suite of web and mobile applications. The right candidate would provide business analysis support to their IT and business teams in defining and testing these applications.
- Clearly and accurately document requirements for the software development team or manual process development. This includes tasks like launching e-commerce, managing fleets, and expanding globally to other subsidiaries.
- Create program documentation such as content and administration standards, standard operating procedures, policy manuals, and external communications.
- implement administrative policies, which involve managing user access and permissions, performing data conversions when necessary, and handling manual information processing tasks that are not yet automated by the system.
- Conduct user acceptance testing for new software releases before they are deployed in production. Keep track of any issues or defects and ensure they are resolved.
- Provide Level 2 support to address user-reported problems with the applications. (Level 1 support is handled by a separate third-party)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 4-5 years experience as a Business Analyst defining and documenting requirements for complex software systems
- Experience driving process definition and administrative setup to get a startup operation working, including hands-on administration and data analysis/cleanup
- Working knowledge with Azure and DevOps technologies
