What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAP Data Migration Lead position at Bayforce?
Role Title: SAP Data Migration Lead
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Preferred Location: Local to Northern Chicago suburbs- Tues, Wed, Thurs onsite- 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Role Description:
o Broad knowledge of SAP ECC/S4 functionality and common standard table structures
- Strong technical skills - SQL, data analysis, support Data team members with build-out tasks
- Identify impacts to data conversion and/or maintenance within cross-team discussions (priority areas: MFG/SCM/FIN) and coordinate mitigation/follow-up
- Lead the design and implementation of an SAP project deliverables including functional and technical specifications, testing, training and go-live support
- Advise on best practices in architecting, designing & supporting S/4 PP, MM, EWM, and ECC SCM applications
- Analyze, recommend, plan, design, develop, and/or implement solutions to meet strategic, usability, performance, reliability, control, and security requirements
- Must be self-motivated with capability to work independently
- Ability to lead, organize, and balance multiple projects/priorities
- Identify design gaps in proposed solutions and advise of solutions
- Experience with ECC/S4 field mapping
- Experience conducting Data Migrations and Conversions
