POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting the HR department with its responsibilities, inclusive of new hire coordination, ongoing audits for compliance, running reports based on department need and ensuring the HR plans and programs are realized. This role is also a key conduit for employee communications in the organization, and reflects a positive image to all stakeholders, including employees, patients, physicians and community members.
Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and processes all new employee paperwork, orientation and scheduling. Prepares the new hire packets, makes copies of I-9 documents and sends email confirmations to new employees and managers for logistical purposes. Schedules employee with language tests, as appropriate.
  • Together with the HR Manager, inputs employees into Choice, amends employee addresses, answers questions regarding time off requests and the like.
  • Conducts periodic audits on employee records, such as fingerprint clearance, licensure and TB testing. This position runs the OIG/SAM exclusion report monthly.
  • Reviews HR mailbox and cascades the messages to the HRM as needed.
  • Ensures the HR drive and folders therein are organized and efficient. Performs periodic audits to ensure documentation is in good standing.
  • Sends out and partners with external vendors, such as the background check vendor, to get all employee related information promptly.
  • Intakes all employee subpoena request and makes copies for the HRM review before sending.
  • Supports the HRM on benefits activities. Responsible for employment verifications.
  • Completes and sends weekly newsletter to staff, along with other routine communication.
  • Order medical and administrative supplies as needed for field staff.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Certification, and Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma and prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Excellent decision-making, strategic thinking and ethical conduct skills a must. Champion of Bayless Core Values a must.
  • Proficient in MS Office, such as Word, Excel and Power Point. HRIS system proficiency a plus.
  • Highly detail oriented and maintains confidentiality in all matters required.
  • Deadline driven, and ability to communicate effectively between departments.
