What We Are Looking For
Baylor University is seeking a Director/Senior Director of Electronic Research Administration to provide leadership and overall coordination of technology efforts at the university. This position will be tasked with researching and evaluating new systems, services and technologies that ultimately support carrying out the mission of Baylor.
The selected candidate will have the option work remotely, but must be willing to travel to campus on an as-needed basis.
A Bachelor's degree, five years of relevant work experience, and an active Christian faith are required. A Master’s degree and seven years of relevant work experience are preferred.

What You Will Do
- Provide technical support and access maintenance for OVPR administrative systems and portals
- Maintain software configuration documentation, integration diagrams, and reporting documentation for OVPR-specific technology.
- Lead evaluation of new OVPR technology, to include community needs assessment, purchase requisitioning, and implementation project management.
- Participate as OVPR’s representative in institution-wide information technology initiatives, maintenance, and governance, including those related to Baylor’s ERP
- Serve as primary OVPR liaison with Baylor’s Information Technology teams on initiatives requiring Baylor’s IT support and governance
- Collaborate within OVPR and with the Baylor community to maintain integrity, integration, and output of OVPR data.
- Maintain working knowledge related to research and ensure compliance with regulatory policies and procedures
- Partner with other executives in the development and implementation of research policies and procedures
- Provide institutional support for research faculty
- Continually work to advance the academic mission of the University
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission

The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $125,000 - $150,000.
The full salary range for this position classification is $74,260.16 - $176,442.15.
This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certification, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs.
