Job Description

Responsible for managing staff to ensure work is completed and handles all HR functions, including but not limited to, hiring, firing, performance evaluations and goal planning.

\n\n

WHAT IS EXPECTED (ESSENTITAL FUNCTIONS)

\n\n

Initiate projects and meet with client to determine the clients scope, budget, timeline and expectations.

\n\n

Determine whether project should be outsourced or will stay within the department. 

\n\n

establish projects financing source and receive project number in a timely manner.

\n\n

Maintain regular, concise, and complete communication with projects client and other team members.

\n\n

Work with all project team members (client, consultants, contractors, vendors and other pertinent BSWH departments) to deliver the project that meets the clients needs while remaining within budget and time. 

\n\n

Deliver projects within the constrain of any and all applicable Baylor Scott & White policies, procedures and standards.

\n\n

Work with pertinent Scott and White departments and coordinates efforts to ensure their timely input and reviews and ensures that their specific requirements are included in the project and that their requirements meet the needs of the user and can be delivered within the projects budget and timeframe. 

\n\n

Present projects program to client in timely, clear and concise manner.

\n\n

Work with project team to design and develop projects that meet their need and expectations while remaining within the space, budget and time constraints of the project. 

\n\n

Negotiate, solicit and receive bids and manage the work of outside consultants and vendors as required to endure accurate and complete professional services that meet the needs of the Scott and White project client and meet the time and budget goals and expectations of the project.

\n\n

Effective manage the progress and costs of the consultants and vendors that will best achieve the required results in a timely and cost-effective manner. 

\n\n

Effectively manage the progress and costs of the consultants and vendors holding the accountable for fulfilling contract terms. 

\n\n

Serve as liaison for BSWH in a professional manner. 

\n\n

Ensure that all professional services delivered in-house are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. 

\n\n

Coordinate with pertinent Baylor Scott & White departments or Baylor Scott & White affiliated departments to ensure that the requirements of their departments (IS, Safety, IC, Engineering) are included in the contract documents and that these departments are given timely opportunities to review documents and observe completeness and accuracy of their requirements.

\n\n

ensure that all services of in-house departments pertinent to projects is delivered in a timely manner and that these services meet the time and budget goals and expectations of the project and meet the needs of the client.

\n\n

Receive and approve any invoices associated with in-house series or requirements and forwards for proper disposition in a timely manner. 

\n\n

   

\n\n

The ideal candidate for the Project Manager role is one who is self-directed, holds themselves and others accountable, works well with a team or independently, has the ability to perform multiple duties as assigned per departmental needs, and has project management experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

\nEDUCATION - Bachelors or Equivalent Exp
\n
\nEXPERIENCE - A minimum of 10 years experience required
