Job Summary: Provides a variety of customer savings, checking and certificate transactions, as well as customer services such as sales of money orders and gift cards.
Job Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Cash handling experience.
· Proficient in reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills.
· Good interpersonal communication, organizational and computer skills, ability to operate standard office equipment.
Specific Job Functions:
- Receives payments for mortgages, consumer and other loans.
- Process all types of branch related transactions for customers and administrative purposes.
- Assists in the night depository function.
- Ensures that the teller station is property stocked and maintained.
- Balances cash drawer, prepares settlement sheet and reports discrepancies to supervisors.
- Promptly reports malfunctions of teller terminals and other equipment to supervisor.
- Places holds on accounts for uncollected funds.
- Process night drop transactions.
- Maintains thorough knowledge of company/branch policies and procedures.
- Assists in promoting new business for the branch.
- Assists in bank-by-mail functions.
- Other duties as assigned.'
