We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Finisher to join our team. As a Cabinet Finisher, you will be responsible for applying finishes to cabinets and ensuring they meet quality standards. This hands-on role requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of cabinet finishing techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare cabinets for finishing by sanding, filling, and repairing any imperfections
- Apply stains, paints, varnishes, or other finishes to cabinets using various techniques such as spraying, brushing, or wiping
- Ensure that finishes are applied evenly and smoothly, paying close attention to detail
- Inspect finished cabinets for quality and make any necessary touch-ups or repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and disposal of materials

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in staining and painting cabinets using conversion varnish, water, and oil-based paints.
- Must be able to color blend and paint using tinted conversion varnish
- Strong knowledge of cabinet finishing techniques and materials, and knowledge of specialty finishes such as glazing and distressing is a plus.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment related to cabinet finishing
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise

Skills:

- Hand tools: Proficiency in using various hand tools such as sanders, brushes, scrapers, etc.
- Door hanging: Experience in hanging cabinet doors accurately and securely
Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively within a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.48 - $27.08 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
