Analyst

As an Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data, providing support to multi-million dollar real estate transactions and assisting hotel operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Collection and Analysis - Collect, interpret, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Reporting - Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and actionable reports, presentations, and visualizations to key stakeholders.
• Forecasting - Utilize data and statistical methods to develop forecasts and predictions related to hotel development, acquisitions and operations.
• Transaction Support - Assist the Baywood Hotels development and capital market departments with all aspects of acquisitions, sales and refinancing including, but not limited to: underwriting, due diligence, budgeting and projections.
• Licensing/Operations Support - Provide support to hotel operations teams with licensing and compliance matters.
• Identify Insights: Discover insights and opportunities through data analysis that can drive strategic decisions and process improvements.
• Market Research - Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to provide valuable market intelligence.
• Collaboration - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including accounting, revenue management, operations and human resources.
• Data Integrity - Ensure data accuracy, quality, and integrity, and develop and implement data governance practices.
• Continuous Learning - Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in data analysis and analytics.
• Domestic travel is required (approximately 1-2 times per month).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, economics etc.).
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
