Race Technician

BBI Autosport, a renowned automotive performance tuning and race engineering company, is seeking a highly skilled and passionate race car technician to join our dynamic team. As a race car technician, you will play a vital role in building and assembling high-performance race vehicles, ensuring their optimal performance on and off the track. This position requires a strong automotive background, excellent organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a deep understanding of race car engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Take pride in building and assembling race cars to the highest standards, ensuring precision and attention to detail in every component.
• Document all work performed on the repair order, maintaining comprehensive and accurate records of the assembly process.
• Provide support in the maintenance and preparation of vehicles, ensuring vehicle integrity is maintained at all times.
• Perform a wide range of maintenance and service tasks, including installations and repairs for race vehicles.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, such as engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Execute major and minor mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic assembly and builds with expertise and precision.
• Conduct routine maintenance work aimed at ensuring vehicle functionality and longevity.

Requirements:

• Strong automotive background and active experience in the field, demonstrating a deep understanding of race car mechanics and engineering principles.
• Clean and organized work habits, ensuring efficiency and meticulousness in every stage of race car assembly.
• Strong communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with mechanics, managers, race engineers, and supporting departments to build race cars that meet performance goals.
• Extensive experience in building and assembling high-performance vehicles, preferably in a racing environment.
• Proactive and adaptable approach, capable of responding to changing business needs and presenting innovative ideas to solve problems.
• Porsche experience preferred.
• Must own their own tools.
• Possess an increasingly broad knowledge of how vehicles' components work and interact.
