Software Tester

Eagle Integrated Services, LLC (EIS) is seeking Software Tester support for a new client at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland.    We are seeking a Software Tester to support in the disciplines as listed, but not limited to, below: Designs, develops and executes manual and automated tests during software and system development to ensure they are operational and effective prior to release. Works with developers and stakeholders to get an understanding of what the system is meant to do, its functionality and who the end users are Decomposes complex or large systems into smaller parts to test •Develops and executes test plans, test cases and detailed test scripts Uses COTS testing software and frameworks perform automated testing and reporting Performs a variety of test types including unit, functional, security, regression, limit, integration, stress, performance and scalability Reports progress, risks and bugs identified to the software development and project management teams Performs testing in a variety of platforms and components including networks, operating systems, applications, databases, browsers and mobile devices Understands, follows and promotes the values and principles in the Agile Manifesto Understands, follows and promotes continuous cyber security risk management   Minimum Qualifications: Secret clearance IAT Level 2 includes baseline cyber certificate(s) and applicable platform certifications such as common operating environment training (Windows 2016/2019, Linux RedHat/CentOS) Experience with all or some of the following technologies: JIRA Confluence GitLab Bitbucket Nexus Jenkins Selenium Fortify SonarQube CodeDX Linux (RHEL, CentOS) Jetty Apache SQL Server/PostgreSQL Java Spring Spark Ansible Amazon Web Services Azure Experience and comfortability with Agile best practices Experience with high volumes of users and application optimization Strong customer support ability Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional technical troubleshooting skills (applications, services, servers, networking, etc.) Experience developing cloud-based applications Experience with automated testing technologies (Selenium/etc.)
