Are you looking for a company with more than 30 years of experience and an emerging leader in their industry?

BBP is hiring a Sales Trainee to join the Sales Rep Rotational Program. Our Rotational Program helps our soon-to-be Account Managers understand all areas of the business including our product lines, Instruments, Valves and Sensors. This program prepares a new Account Manager for success in selling.

Within our Sales Rep Rotational Program, you will rotate through four parts of our BBP team, including Operations, Inside Sales, Outside Sales, and Industry Management.

Once you complete the Sales Rep Rotational Program, you will move into an Account Manager (Outside Sales) role with your own territory and customer base.

Inside Sales:

In the Inside Sales Rotation, you will become an expert of products’ features, how to integrate products with customer applications and provide excellent customer service via phone and email.

  • Instruments:  Learn the fundamentals of our industry and how to provide customer service that builds Like and Trust.
  • Sensors: Understand how to specify a product that BBP manufactures and work with sub suppliers and manufacturing to meet customer application needs and lead time.
  • Valves: Take the fundamentals learned in the first two rotations to dive deeper on a specific product line and learn the basics of application engineering.

Outside Sales:

In the Outside Sales Rotation, you will learn our sales cycle, how to pursue and win business, identify potential customers, and implement strategic sales plans.

You will spend time at customer sites, assisting Account Managers and Industry and Product managers in their goal of growing opportunities within BBP’s territory. The Outside Sales rotation will include projects in the following areas:

  • Marketing: How to use market research, lead generation and training classes to identify and engage with prospect accounts
  • Account Management: Ride along with Account Managers in your region to meet customers and understand the day-to-day role of a BBP Outside Sales team member
  • Industry Management: Identify opportunities within BBP’s territory and product portfolio to assist Account Managers and Industry managers in growing targeted industries: Food and Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Water / Waste Water, etc.
  • Product Management: Assist product management in helping provide resources, training and product knowledge to Account Management and Customers on specific technical products BBP designs solutions for or manufactures: Valves, Sensors, Process Automation etc.

Education

Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college or university.
