Growing company in San Diego is seeking a motivated individual to join our team. We are looking for an individual with strong sales skills that works independently and well with a team. The ability to multitask different things throughout day is a must, no day is the same!
This position consists of reaching out to new clients for business and maintaining relationships. You will work closely with property managers, engineers and project managers to make sure the correct scope of work is agreed upon. The ideal person will create the estimate, including scope of work, labor, material, etc. This position will be responsible for making sure all jobs run smoothly.
· Meet with contacts – create job scope, measure areas that need repair
· Create estimate – write up proposal and work with budgets
· Oversee all jobs – order material, equipment and manage labor
· Maintain relationships, reach out to new contacts, jobs walks, sales presentations
Qualifications
- 3 years of professional outside sales experience (construction or construction services experience and/or selling to property managers, homeowners’ associations, and facilities’ managers – sales experience in this industry is a plus).
- Overall background in Trades/Construction a plus
- Strong business writing and math skills, basic computer skills (we use Word, Excel, and Outlook),
- Use of take-off estimation software recommended but not required.
- Mentally focused, motivated, and drive to succeed.
