What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Engineer position at BBSI?
We are seeking a licensed electrician/ electrical engineer for our Electrical Engineer Field Service Technician role. A successful candidate will have experience commissioning Industrial Electrical Control Panels. This position requires traveling 50% of the time and will be eligible for traveling bounces. This role will install, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and industrial control panels, motors, motor control systems, switch gears, PLC programming, variable frequency drive, and industrial instruments.
Responsibilities:
- Install and modify electrical control panels, equipment, and circuitry in industrial or commercial plants
- Diagnose the cause of electrical systems malfunctions
- Collaborate with electrical engineers to solve developmental problems
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Ensure all electrical components adhere to standards
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields
- Familiarity with electrical schematics
- Excellent root cause analysis skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Deadline and detail-oriented
