Compensation: $100,000. Base, Plus Bonus, and Full Benefits
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Including Travel
Purpose
This role will manage operations of crane & hoist division to ensure profitable margins, staffing needs, and sales of products and services. This will be done by focusing on processes and implementation within the crane & hoist department.
Duties:
- Manage expenses of crane & hoist division to ensure net profit budget goals are met. This includes monitoring projected costs and hours on the job
- Develop marketing plan of crane & hoist sales and strive to meet budget goals set by President
- Manage employees through production and software managers
- Manage deployment of crane & hoist jobs through the post-sale & post-install phases of the job
- Provide reports to the President and Board of Directors as required.
- Work hand in hand with sales staff in quoting crane & hoist projects to end-users.
- Support Branches with Technical assistance
- Provide engineering support for all projects
- Design and Quote industrial and control projects
- Research new technologies that can provide solutions for our customers
- Provide assistance and training to branch sales personnel on advanced technologies as they begin to emerge into our business
- Perform employee evaluations as required
- Provide achievable goals for employees and division to grow the business
- Focus on process and implementation within crane & hoist projects to find inefficiencies
- Build and support a staffing model that supports customer needs
- Consistently follows recognized safe practices to help ensure personal safety as well as the safety of others.
- .This role is held accountable for crane & hoist goals as a department as well as their individual performance goals
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent experience in the weighing field
- Able to frequently travel for extended periods up to 1 week at a time
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license for travel
- Must be able to drive for extended periods of time up to 8 hours per day
- Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must have excellent verbal, written, and listening skills
- Able to occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Training or experience in project management, marketing, human resources, and accounting
- Requires excellent knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Access
- Training or experience in Electrical, Communications, Programming, and Weighing Technologies
