Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled Field Refrigeration Technician to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in either refrigeration technician or HVAC roles, with a strong understanding of commercial refrigeration units.
The role requires independent work on the field, servicing various units such as walk-in freezers, refrigerators, AC units, chillers, and ice makers.
Responsibilities :
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial refrigeration units.
- Diagnose issues and make necessary adjustments or replacements of defective parts.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of refrigeration systems.
- Respond promptly to service calls and emergencies to minimize downtime for clients.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding proper usage and maintenance of refrigeration units.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Qualifications :
- 3-5 years of experience in refrigeration technician or HVAC roles.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various commercial refrigeration units.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and controls.
- Familiarity with walk-in freezers, refrigerators, AC units, chillers, and ice makers.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Must pass pre-screening : Drug test and security clearance.
- Must have High School Diploma or GED.
- Clean DMV.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Certification or training in refrigeration technology or HVAC.
- Experience with commercial kitchen equipment is a plus.
- Restaurant experience.
