Brian Christopher (@BCSlots) is the leading social media creator in casino gaming, with a thriving online community of over 8 million monthly viewers. His award-winning content production & marketing firm, BC Ventures is seeking a talented and dedicated Partner Manager to join our team in Palm Springs, CA, or remotely within the state of California. This position is full time, and you will report to our Senior Director of Corporate Development.
As Partner Manager, your primary responsibility will be to build trusted relationships with our portfolio of brand partners, gain a deep understanding of their business objectives, and match their needs with our full suite of marketing solutions. In collaboration with the Partnerships Coordinator, the Social Media Marketing Manager and our leadership, you will work to seamlessly execute and elevate partner-sponsored activations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with our partner portfolio of casino hotels & resorts, online and social casinos, slot machine manufacturers, gaming studios, TV producers, and other premium advertisers, in order to book sponsored content, hosted events and brand activations.
- Vet incoming partnership opportunities against a combined grading scale, considering our long-term business strategy, quarterly revenue goals, available booking capacity, exclusivity rulesets, and BC Ventures brand values.
- Support the Sr. Director of Corporate Development with reviewing and negotiating sponsorship and partnership agreements, from drafting and redlining to deal close.
- Contribute to and lead ongoing conversations with our partners around campaign performance & optimization, with the goal of growing and expanding their investment in the partnership.
- Increase brand marketing / sponsorship sales revenue for our flagship annual event from both recurring and net new sponsors, across both endemic and non-endemic categories.
- Organize, prepare for, and lead quarterly business reviews for our top-tier relationships with the executive presence and polish required to grow these local, national and global partners.
- Identify innovative event concepts to promote our B2C brands, and increase revenue from sponsored visits & activations.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in digital media partner management, sales, and/or business development.
- Comprehensive understanding of legal contracts, commercial terms, and B2B negotiation techniques, with a proven track record of closing deals that drive innovation and revenue.
- Ability to build deep connections, use persuasive communication to influence decision makers, and instill confidence & trust with follow-through execution.
- Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly for managing contractual deliverables and calendars of events.
- Strategic thinking, creative problem solving, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
